What is the modern hero? The Berlin exhibition "Heroism" shows us heroes are indeed closer today than ever before, while more abstract.

The democratic hero is nothing new. Was already aware of David Bowie, as he sang in the 1970s, the heroism of one day: We could be heroes / just for one day. Even Andy Warhol predicted we know the glory of the individual - for at least 15 minutes. But what is in the 21 Century remains of the old, classical heroes? The Berlin Gallery Neonchocolate tries in their exhibition Heroism this question to accept. Different artists show their different perspectives on the modern heroism - from the abstract democratic hero superstar.

form, which culminated in Jäki Hildebrand photographs taken off stage. Hildebrand guided tour manager as not only an artist like Die Toten Hosen, Herbert Grönemeyer and BAP, but also represents stars like Robbie Williams and Tokio Hotel. In his paintings, he extended the perspective of the viewer.

He is interested not the superstars, but the scenes in which they operate. He plans to focus on what is left after the performances: hysterical fans and tortured halls. On one of his pictures you can see a small landfill of damaged rows of chairs, which were discarded after a Tokio Hotel concert in a Polish place in nature. The slightly stuffy-looking curtain in the backstage area. Or the feet of waiting fans before a meeting with the stars. Their faces, their individuality they have lost in the crowd.
