Gab es einen Star, der dich für die Rolle inspiriert hat?

Ich habe mich zur Vorbereitung viel mit "Tokio Hotel" befasst. Die haben ja einen ähnlichen Werdegang wie im Film "Berlin Mitte". Das ist schon irre, wie gerade Bill sich verändert hat, wie sich das entwickelt hat über die Jahre. Die sind sehr selbstbewusst geworden. Bei ihren Bühnenauftritten hab ich mir viel abgeguckt. Ich bin aber auch bei den "Kings of Leon", "Mando Diao" und "Beatsteaks" beim Konzert gewesen und hab mir das bewusst angeschaut. Das sind alles Bands, die extrem gut mit dem Publikum arbeiten.

Was there a star, who inspired you for this role?

For the preparation I concerned myself a lot with Tokio Hotel. They have quite the same development as "Berlin Mitte" in the movie. (note: "Berlin Mitte" is the name of the band in the film) It's crazy, how especially Bill has changed, how it developed over the years. They got really confident. I learned a lot by watching their performances on stage. But I also was at concerts of "Kings of Leon", "Mando Diao" and the "Beatsteaks" and I watched it carefully. They're all bands who work extremely good with their audience.
