As a full-blown Tokio Hotel fan as well as a style savant, I'm almost as excited about Bill Kaulitz's new hair and makeup looks as I am about the release of Tokio Hotel's new album, Humanoid, which comes out Tuesday, October 6 in the U.S.

And, since I'm always willing to put myself in the hot seat -- especially if it means bringing joy to the MTV Buzzworthy Blog's diehard, devoted Tokio Hotel fans -- I asked the wonderful, talented Keri Blair, who's a senior artist at MAC (and whose JOB it is to fly around the WORLD prettying up models during international fashion shows and shoots) to give us a step-by-step tutorial and show us how to recreate Bill Kaulitz's "Automatic" makeup look.

The phenomenally talented Keri, using her arsenal of beauty tips and tricks, recreated Bill Kaulitz's new look, and the results? Well I'm a realistic girl. My nose is, charitably, Roman, and looks nothing like the Kaulitz twins' much-regaled perfect nose. In my estimation, I looked a bit more like a hybrid of Gene Simmons' secret lovechild and this remote-control-operated Beauty And The Beast costume (but that thing's SO cyberpunk too!) that I saw at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London than the lost Kaulitz sister, and my eyes stung a little, but I totally took one for Team Tokio AND I realized how much Bill goes through to keep his look fresh and fun. And, while Bill does vamp it up (and we love that about him), he makes it look so easy. Ugh. So unfairsies. So while it was fun to Be Bill for a hot second, we all know there can only ever be one Bill Kaulitz.
